Talk:L0phtCrack

I moved this from the article page. While it might be of interest to some, it isn't appropriate for an article on LC5.

There is a good freeware alternative to L0phtcrack called LCP. [1]

I concur; there is also the box at the bottom of the page listing a number of different programs with this sort of purpose. That seems like a more appropriate place for mentions of other things. ("don't need to mention other software unless we can explain it better through comparison") 125.236.211.165 (talk) 13:30, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Credit where credit is due edit

The text of the article makes it seems as though l0phtcrack was developed by Mudge alone, when that is not the case - and this is even referenced in the side note. There were also, if I recall correctly, contributors from outside of l0pht. If no one can defend the current wording, I will be changing it to remove Mudge and replace it with "l0pht, with contributions from others". Bobkeyes (talk) 03:49, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Outdated edit

It's now after the date mentioned at the bottom of the page, and lo and behold, the article's prediction was correct. Now what do we do? 125.236.211.165 (talk) 13:28, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
