Thilo Sarrazin - Deutschland schafft sich ab: — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.152.191.106 (talk) 17:24, 9 March 2016 (UTC) I would suggest to delete quote 9 and quote 14, both are not correct. I checked the chapter and quote 14 is a private conversation with a well respected major (p. 301, ed. 9), but it's only a memorized quote. Quote 9 doesn't appear within the chapter . Nevertheless, this book is a highly controversial book in Germany, the discussion in media lastet at least for 3 month.Reply

Black washing the article edit

Kurdish articles are black washed and some users have added a new "Issues section" to all Kurdish articles and explained some specific honour killings with details. I checked British Turks, British Pakistanis, British Indian and other different people in western countries, they haven't added such sections even though some of them have similar issues and even much worse. Also, there is no such issue honour killing among the Kurds, if some individuals commit crimes, it doesn't mean it's issue among that ethnicity. You need strong and reliable source for such claim. Did you really check these articles? They mention political issues and gender violence like forced marrriage, cousin marriage and female foeticide. The topic of HBV (Honor based violence) is notable, at least as relevant as Nigerians_in_the_Netherlands#Crime or Turks_in_Germany#Integration_problems or Moroccan-Dutch#LGBT-related_attitudes.
Some of these cases are very notable, especially the Honor killing of Hatun Sürücü, which was wiedely debated in Germany, among GErman Kurds, and was the subject of films and other media.--176.127.213.144 (talk) 23:33, 20 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Just because something was mentioned in some news doesn't mean that it is a notable event. If you keep murder of someone as a notable event, I am sure articles like this will be full of those things. She is known, mentioned in news, but that doesn't mean you should add it to this article. The same thing with Turkish articles, users didn't add crime reports and statistics. If I go with your logic and add things like this, the Turks in Germany article will be full of crime and rape sections. If I add events like this, it will be full of "notable" events like this. What Kurdish gangs have to do with this article and the political activism? Check number of Turkish gangs in Germany, almost 15. Check how many of them are mentioned in Turks in Germany article. Also, check number of Assyrian gangs in Swede, almost 8, how many of them are mentioned in Assyrians in Sweden article?

The Kurdish street gang "Sondame", purportedly fighting for a free Kurdistan, was formed in Stuttgart, and in 2015 had about 1,000 members in Germany and Switzerland.[1][2] Other Kurdish street gangs include Median Empire[3] and Red Legion.[4][5][6] Ferakp (talk) 09:09, 21 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it's rather odd that you would object to this material about Kurds, when you yourself added this to Turks_in_Germany, Ferakp
Did I add Turkish gangs? Should I go and add them?Ferakp (talk) 20:41, 21 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
