Talk:Knitting Nancy

A Knitting Nancy is a term for a knitting machine. This article contains errors in fact and should be consolidated with the article for Knitting Machine.

It is certain that it has nothing to do with looms, they are textile machines for weaving and this is a knitting in the round machine similar in concept to a crank operated spool knitting or sock-knitting machine.
There should be no mention of the word loom in the text even if it is used in the title of the reference, The term 'knitting loom' does get used at times as one of the manual pegboard knitting assistants but is a functional misnomer and a better word would be good as primary.
It might fit better with the spool knitting article.
