Factual error in article: the community was not "Originally named Kingston Station". It got that name about 1870 when the railroad station was established there to serve "Kingston Village", about 3km to the south across the Annapolis River. That community retained the name Kingston Village until about 1960, when it was changed to "Greenwood Village". It is now part of Greenwood. The road connecting these communities was called Neily Road (now Bridge St.), and that is the original name of the settlement now known as Kingston. A Post Office called Neily Road was established in 1864; it was re-named as "Kingston Station" in 1887. The "Station" was officially dropped from the name in 1916, although it remained in general use much longer. To add to the confusion of names, the school district established there about 1871 was called Bloomfield.
