Porco Rosso edit
In the credits of Porco Rosso she is credited as Kimberly Williams-Paisley, which means the subtitling must have happened after her marriage. While the movie was originally released in Japan in 1992, the English subtitles was done in 2005. née or born, NOT both edit
The article starts with:
"née Williams; born September 14, 1971".
To avoid weighing down the phrase with this pleonasm, I suggest to replace it with:
either "born Williams on September 14, 1971",
or "née Williams on September 14, 1971".
"born" and "née" being both world-wide known nowadays, either will do. However I feel "née" as having no advantage other than looking savvy in the eyes of some people by unnecessarily importing foreigner words, especially when weighed down with characters altered by diacritics, while "born" is at least as universal, and more resilient (these more general questions better addressed later and elsewhere).
