Origin of "Kickapoo" name edit
Since the Kickapoo people are an indigenous people to the states of Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, it would be a good idea if the origin of the name "Kickapoo" in this drink's name were at least mentioned briefly in this article. 173.89.236.187 (talk) 03:41, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
- This is a great suggestion. We will need to have some source that mentions how Al Capp came to know the Kickapoo people and/or their beverages. For now, a 'see also' mention is appropriate. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 13:53, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
I understand that Kickapoo Joy Juice is a light-hearted reference to a cartoon strip (which I enjoyed as a child) and a current beverage, but it has an older history. - (8 years later) Is the origin/etymology of the word "Kickapoo" in this beverage's name eventually going to be added to this article?
