His Height

I've tried sourcing it, and aside from the promotional Alias images (which are digitally manipulated, and she's probably in heels - likely with the intention of ensuring Garner is front, centre, and the recognised star).

An image such as: http://ffmedia.ign.com/filmforce/image/kevinwnick_aliaslarge_051503.jpg gives the impression he is a dwarf, but a glance at the people around him show he's at least of a comparable height to them - just the guy in the foreground is "tall" (maybe 6'4). By comparison this image http://i.imdb.com/Photos/Events/1910/Aliascastm_Grani_884635_400.jpg clearly shows he's "small" but not to such a recognisible margin. Vartan (far right) is 6', Merrin Dungey (female, middle) is 5'8 (and probably wearing heals, and appears 'stooped'), Anders (hand on Weisman's shoulder) is 6', whilst Ron Rifkin (older bloke, glasses) is supposedly 5'10 but looks shorter than Weisman (and more than 2 inches shorter than the likes of Vartan). All details I can find on Weisman specify his height at around 5'6.5 to 5'8, however nothing so low as to place him in the realm of dwarfism.

There are a number of other conditions that can result in ununsual facial features. Noonan syndrome for instance causes wide spaced eyes, low ears etc. There's a number of illness that can cause dysplasia - few create an equally balanced appearance in both hemispheres. Chances are Wiesmans family either has a very particular body shape/facial shape of which he's inherited (that just happens to look 'dwarfish') or he may have a mild condition such as (but not specifically) Noonans.--Koncorde 18:40, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

For all the reasons above...photographic evidence, etc, as well as his own silence on the subject, there is no reliable reason to believe he is a dwarf, just on the short side. I removed a comment saying he was an activist on behalf on actors with dwarfism because there was no reference supporting it in the article, and I could not find any evidence to support it. It seems to have been put there to insinuate evidence on behalf of the rumor that he is a dwarf. This is the problem with wikipedia...that people put in things that are either not true, or if they are, they do not provide evidence. It makes it nearly impossible to trust this site as a reliable reference. Editors must provide evidence in order to make entries credible, as many people use wikipedia in the search not for information directly, but for references. End of diatribe. The individual himself, to my knowledge, has never said anything to lead one to suspect dwarfism, nor is it common knowledge, or verifiable. holyinsaneone 05:12, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
