It's nice to see that so many people still remember Ken and have taken the time to add to this article. JDuffy1535 17:35, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anything on his claims to have scouted for the Patriots and the fact that no one who worked for the Patriots could back it up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.87.20.98 (talk) 21:02, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

This entry is hardly encyclopedic, and mostly consists of subjective fandom.Thebookpolice (talk) 21:18, 18 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

When I finally met Ken, I asked him with a slight hint of sarcasm " Ken - don't you think you go a little overboard in your enthusiasm for Bernie Streeter's Arby's restaurants ? " Old Ken didn't appear to appreciate my sarcasm much. I was met with his biting glare and the sharp reply in his Boston accent " The man provides health care for his employees, do you know how unheard of that is in the fast food industry ? " I guess old Bernie was way ahead of his time. 71.105.99.137 (talk) 19:50, 6 April 2010 (UTC) D Samson formerly of Arlington, VAReply

Catch phrases edit

This is moved talk because of the tag for 'too many examples', and questionable encyclopedianess RJFJR (talk) 20:46, 21 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

He was particularly well known for his commercials for local Arby's restaurants, in which he mentioned his friendship with the proprietor, Bernie Streeter, his love for the Jamocha shake and, due to dietary restrictions after his heart attack, saying "I'll be honest with you, I don't eat the curly fries, but I'm told they're very good."

When 10-digit dialing was instituted in the DC area, his famous phone number "432-WMAL" required an area code, so Ken would tell callers to "Slap a 202 in front of it and keep the phone company happy."

People in the Washington area still quote his famous catch phrases, such as "If I could make that trade, I'd make it twice", "It's an easy lookup", "Yeeeeer Next on SportsCall", and, "Bye now."

Reclassed as start edit

I have reclassified this article as a start due to its level of detail. Capitalistroadster (talk) 00:51, 7 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
