Deafness

There is zero reason to leave out from the lead section that Kaylee Hottle is deaf. All reliable sources mention her deafness. It is completely in line with MOS:OPENPARABIO and MOS:BIOFIRSTSENTENCE to state this context. Erik (talk | contrib) ^{(ping me)} 03:18, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

Furthermore, I did read your edit summary, and other stuff exists. It does not prove or disprove anything, and they do mention the blindness and deafblindness respectively. Neither are GA or FA, where the GA Shaylee Mansfield mentions it. Are you familiar with WP:LEAD which says, "The lead should identify the topic and summarize the body of the article with appropriate weight"? It also says, "The lead should stand on its own as a concise overview of the article's topic." Her film appearances and her deafness are the key identifiers, everything else is details about these elements.

Explain why Kaylee Hottle's lead section should not mention her deafness at all. Do you somehow consider it offensive to mention this about her, despite all the reliable sources mentioning it? Erik (talk | contrib) ^{(ping me)} 12:26, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

On IMDb & afew other Websites ....

The most recent reliable sources, like here, say that she is 16 years old, and the estimated birth year is based on that. IMDb is not reliable, and it's possible other websites copied from IMDb. Erik (talk | contrib) ^{(ping me)} 23:44, 2 April 2024 (UTC)

We need to follow reliable sources, and it's not very common for most actors' birthdays to be public record. Looking again for recent reliable sources, this from yesterday confirms her being 16 years old. So it is a very verifiable fact that she was born around 2007-2008. Beyond this, I don't know if people got mixed up before about how old she was and when. It looks like Godzilla vs. Kong was filmed at the end of 2018, so if it was released in 2021, there may have been some miscommunication about reporting her age at the time of casting, during filming, and when the film was released. That source is not MSN, it is Hiptoro being published under MSN. Nothing on the Hiptoro website, which looks like a blog, indicates that it is a reliable source per WP:RS.
