I'm removing the notability tag on the basis that notability criteria for academics #4 has been met: "The person's academic work has made a significant impact in the area of higher education, affecting a substantial number of academic institutions" is met; as she has authored the leading academic work in her field, namely the field of remedies for private law actions in Australia. ('Remedies in Australian Private Law')
and #5 is met: "The person has held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research, or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon."; as she holds the equivalent level of seniority in Australian academia as this Wikipedia policy criteria for a named chair appointment at a major institution of higher education or research; namely, she is a full Professor of Law at the University of Melbourne. Melbourne Law School qualifies as a major institution of higher education or research because it is ranked #1 law school in Australia and #7 or #12 in the world by QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education World University Rankings
She also meets criteria #7, as her work has been cited the Supreme Court of Canada and so meets the threshold of "the person has had a substantial impact outside academia in their academic capacity". She has also been interviewed by Australian media (ABC News) as an expert in her field
She additionally meets criteria #8, as she is the head of the 'Indian Law Review', a major and well-established generalist academic journal with a focus on the laws of the Indian subcontinent, including private law. The journal does not have hierarchical head or chief editor
Additionally, she meets the notability threshold for Creative professionals. Specifically; #1 as she is regarded as an important figure and has been widely cited by peers (see: Google scholar link), and her textbook is the leading text on the topic of private law remedies in Australia.
Her publication of 'Guilty Pigs' also brings her to notability criteria #3 for authors, as this is an independent notable work, as it received coverage from a variety of journalistic sources in Australia. (Including in the Law Society Journal, Aero Magazine, ArtsHub)
