Year of birth edit
Given a year of birth of 1939, in fact, according to the Social Security Death Index, a Jacqueline K McGavin was born on September 19, 1930 and died on April 8, 2003. Given that the dates of birth (09/19) and death (04/08) exactly match those of Kathie Browne (Mrs. Darren McGavin), it would appear that she was born in 1930. Intelius indicates that Kathie McGavin is 62 as of today, July 20, 2009, which means, given that her date of birth is in September, a year of 1936 is indicated. - The authorised site for the McGavins states that she died aged 63 in 2003. This suggests a date of birth of 1939 or 1940. Having recently seen a 1967 episode of Ironside, in which Browne appears as Jane Hickman, her youthful appearance looked more consistent with the latter (ie 39/40) than 1930.
