Merge proposal

thermal conductivity detector (TCD) and hot-wire detector (HWD) are alternative names for Katharometer [1], so i propose merging TCD into this page Mion (talk) 10:40, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

In the US, the most common term for this type of device is thermal conductivity detector. My opinion would be the opposite. Merge Katharometer into TCD. Is there a mechanism for settling such disagreements?--Mattj63 (talk) 00:42, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
