Olympic Gold medal edit
Dear Sir, I would like to cit. the German Wikipedia (but I know it by myself): Mr. Schnabl was second placed behind his team-mate Anton Innauer after the first leg. When he had to jump in the second leg, Innauer was in front - Schnabl was able to have a magnificent jump and could overtake. After the competition, Mr. Schnabl did say: Knowing about the lead of my team-mate, I could remain calm, I didn't feel pressurized; I could take advantage of good conditions. Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 edit
Dear Sir, I would like to cit. German Wikipedia (but I know it by myself):
I would like to express as following: If a jumper is able to win three events of the Four Hill Tournament (and he does compete in all four events) he is the winner of it's total. But Mr. Schnabl couldn't achieve, he became third in the total (15.7 points behind his team mate Willi Pürstl). He did only gain the 35th place in the first event at Oberstdorf (December 30th) - 46.9 points behind winner Mr. Pürstl. Though Mr. Schnabl could show three excellent wins at the following events it was not good enough to take the overall win. Mr. Pürstl was able to achieve a consistent performance. Therefore Mr. Schnabl is the only one jumper who couldn't win that tournament though he could win three events. Another jumper with three wins was Yukio Kasaya in the 1971/72-tournament but he didn't compete in the last event. --Skiscout (talk) 16:17, 8 January 2017 (UTC).
