Notability edit

The subject of this article was a lieutenant general equivalent that commanded a division, corps then an army on the Eastern Front in WWII, and he was also awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. Like every other German Army general of WWII, his career is covered in some detail in Dermot Bradley's multi-volume series Die Generale des Heeres 1921–1945. The idea that he doesn't meet the GNG is, frankly, fatuous. I'm removing the tag. Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 04:30, 7 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
