Translation of the Title

I would like to direct your attention the first sentence in the article: "Kamigami no Asobi: Ludere deorum (神々の悪戯, Mischief of the Gods)"

Like most Japanese products on this wiki, the article romanizes the title, provides the original characters, and finally lists a direct translation; however, this translation is what i would like to bring up. The creators of this title seem to have been having some fun with some of their language's rules. the title is spelled "神々の悪戯"(kamigami no itazura. this is where "mischief" comes from in the above translation) but according to the romanization, it is pronounced as "神々の遊び" (Kamigami no Asobi). Asobi being the noun form of the verb Asobu which means "to play" or "to enjoy oneself", admittedly similar in general concept but the discrepancy between the minutia here seems to be the intention of the title. The way i see this title is that the gods view their pranks/mischief as harmless fun and therefore equate them.

My question comes to this: how should we deal with this? I doubt there is a clean way to do this in the opening paragraph, so perhaps a trivia section would be the best choice. Any thoughts? 174.51.206.242 (talk) 22:15, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
