Municipalities

Do we really need the Delvinaki and Gjirokaster municipalities' templates for a border crossing? I really don't think they are relevant to the article. --SulmuesLet's talk 18:32, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

"Kakavia" has been recently moved to "Kakavijë (border crossing)", however the reason of this move was only partially explained [[1]] because it's about the border crossing and not the village, but why it didn't became "Kakavia (border crossing)" instead?

I'm moving it to "Kakavia (border crossing)" as per google hits:

  • [[2]] Kakavijë+border crossing: 520 hits
  • [[3]] Kakavia+border crossing: 1420 hits.

Same situation in googlebooks ([[4]], [[5]])

Any additional arguments for a future move proposal ("with" a discussion this time) is welcomed, but making moves without explaining why (like the unexlained Kakavia->Kakavijie), isn't a constructive one.Alexikoua (talk) 09:55, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

The reason why I brought it to Kakavijë (border crossing) is because the border check took the name from the Albanian village, Kakavijë. All you are doing is to create confusion between two things. The name should be the same, but thanks to you we are having a border patrol that has the name of the soup. Google hits are really irrelevant, but still you have forgotten several forms of spelling in Albanian in those researches. --SulmuesLet's talk 10:45, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Any move of that kind needs concensus first, else it could be considered highly disruptive. By the way I typed 'Kakavia (border crossing)' not just Kakavia. Soup hits were excluded.Alexikoua (talk) 11:11, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

What I meant was that the border patrol place has in Wikipedia the name of the soup rather than the name of the village. --SulmuesLet's talk 14:35, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

If we want to be consistent we should rename the village than the border crossing (per google hits also).Alexikoua (talk) 20:19, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
