This page has a lot of information without a source/citation (particularly in the last section) and needs a clean-up. Varchoel 13:27, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The link for Larry Lee points to a different Larry Lee. I knew this Larry Lee personally. He was not a musician.

More History? edit

I would like to see more historical information, especially some of the more colorful characters that have made KPFT home, such as Ray Hill. There is currently no information here about the KPFT lineup, or even any kind of feel for what kind of music KPFT plays, or the mix of music versus local and ethnic affairs programming.

Referring back to what IS in the article, about the Ganter Period... that brings back some memories! I Was there. I housed and transported a group of activists from New York who came here to Houston for the last Pacifica Nation Board meeting of the period. Heck, I stood up and SPOKE at that meeting. :) Ah, good times! Bill W. Smith, Jr.

Bullets and Pledge Drives edit

The piece states, "In the early morning hours on August 13, 2007, a bullet was fired into the studio, breaking a window and narrowly missing a woman's head. No one was injured. The shooting followed a week-long fundraising drive."

This suggests that the gun was fired as a result of the fundraising drive. While the drives are an irritant to listeners, they don't usually generate gunshots. Should this be re-worded to remove the implication or was the gunshot a result of the drive? Here Comes the Sun edit

The article states that the station came on in March 1970 with the "new" song "Here Comes the Sun," from Abbey Road. This is a bit off; The Beatles' Abbey Road was released in late September/early October 1969. I'll make a slight change in the verbiage. Famspear (talk) 04:07, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Political bias edit

Today on the radio I heard them complain about Trump using the word lynching to describe impeachment, yet no comment on Joe Biden doing exactly the same when talking about Bill Clinton's impeachment. Either both are bad or neither is. InterdimensionalAliens (talk) 23:40, 28 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
