Liceced BMW? edit
According to the Junkers site, the L1 and L2 were based on the BMW III series, built under licence. I've not put this in, however, as no such connection is mentioned by either Gunston or Kay and the latter says the L1 was a development of the Junkers Fo2 of 1916-7.
