Speed Deletion edit

I think this is an article worth keeping. The person is significant enough. Since no rational was included, I am going to remove the tag. If the person that added the tag adds it again, please include a rational behind your actions, then I would be happy to talk.--Trumpetband 01:36, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge with Joshua Tickell edit

These two articles discuss the same person. They should be merged. Neelix (talk) 19:42, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is clear-cut, and there was no objection. I merged them. tedder (talk) 03:54, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

I added a notability tag. Notability hasn't been established per Wikipedia:Notability_(people). tedder (talk) 03:55, 1 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Citations required edit

This page in written like a promotion, not objective coverage, and it lacks citations - neither are permissible. Considering the topic (notability is not in doubt), there should be significant, reliable coverage for major portions of the content; other parts are pure puffery and need to be rewritten/removed. I will be citing what I can (help appreciated) and removing the remainder (per WP:BLPSOURCES).--E8 (talk) 18:28, 28 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • I removed the puff that was cut-and-paste copied from his [personal website bio] and have been adding citations, where possible.--E8 (talk) 03:47, 4 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Controversy edit

Regarding the O'Keefe entrapment controversy, framing on the page needs to handled appropriately, using reliable, unbiased sources. WP:BLP standards are higher than that of typical WP pages.--E8 (talk) 00:03, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

So are you suggesting that the film showing Tickell accepting oil money for his anti-fracking film was all faked by Breitbart? Poujeaux (talk) 16:10, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
No. I hadn't really considered that you're saying, but after reading the history of James O'Keefe, the videos maker, without external verification, one would have to consider that possibility. That said, my search today revealed more coverage and a response from the Tickells.[[1]][[2]] The Tickells freely admit to being "punked." Politics are weird...--E8 (talk) 20:31, 22 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
