Genre edit

Hello all. I removed the category "English folk singers" because I don't see any evidence that this artist meets the description at Music genre#Traditional and folk music. My edit was reverted on the grounds that the word "folk" appears in the Infobox. So I propose to reinstate the category change and also change the infobox accordingly. (I do understand that the word "folk" is loosely used in the United States to mean something similar to "acoustic", but that not the WP definition, and anyway, the inappropriate category was specifically qualified as English.) • No response, so removing "folk" as proposed. Monxton (talk) 17:23, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
