Added to it edit

They appeared on Family Guy so why not add it to the Legacy and depiction in popular culture section. CarverSindile (talk) 03:26, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Switch the name order edit

Lorena is the more known personality, and the active participant in the affair. I know sexist conventions say to put his name first, but we should be better than this. 2601:200:4401:4100:2752:D6:8E97:E6B8 (talk) 19:30, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

True that. Besides he’s not even a man anymore if you know what I mean. 71.176.76.206 (talk) 01:27, 11 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
If you care about the order of the names, just list them in alphabetical order. That said...

If the genders were reversed, you people would scream blood and murder. You may not realize but saying things like this is even a worse form of a sexual convention, namely; "You are only a man if you have male genitals." You probably think, "Don't take it too seriously, it's just a joke..'. If so, you fail to realize you also give permission to males making jokes about females missing genitals. If you disagree and say men can't joke about that, then you say that you can make jokes about men all you like, just not women. This would also be deeply sexist. This is really a slippery slope. Don't make this about politics, keep your own bias to yourself. This is Wikipedia, not Reddit or Twitter. 89.205.129.228 (talk) 15:39, 9 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Reportedly around April 2001 there was an incident like this one, but it got less media attention than the John Wayne Bobbitt and Lorena Gallo Bobbitt case. The man actually died from blood loss, but the case was, curiously, prosecuted as a battery incident causing substantial bodily harm rather than a homicide case. The names were apparently also withheld for privacy reasons.
