did this man became a Japanese citizen or did he just remain a resident/visitor of Japan? Thanks Hmains 18:07, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
Back then, a gai-jin could not really become a Japanese citizen. A Japanese woman who married a gai-jin lost HER citizenship. --Steve (talk) 06:17, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
