I'm deleting the "possibly due to venereal disease". Even if it's true, it sounds way too gossipy and isn't especially relevant to the story of Danenhower's life. When I can find time to figure out how to do it, I'll also add a picture of him from the Navy site which provided DeLong and Chipp's pictures.
