Which school? edit

Which St. Paul's School did Mr. Simpson attend? The current link points to a disambiguation page. Is it St Paul's School (London) or St. Paul's School, Winchmore Hill? — ERcheck (talk) 01:04, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

It seems to be St Paul's School (London), because that is a famous independent school, whereas St. Paul's School, Winchmore Hill is neither famous nor independent. Coyets 13:28, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

The article lacks them. Jayen466 15:23, 24 September 2008 (UTC) Much of the article seems to have been written by Simpson himself. I have removed some spamming. Simpson is the main person who would know about the exploits of his ancestors. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.170.47.200 (talk) 11:16, 1 September 2009 (UTC) We even get a great grandfather. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.170.47.200 (talk) 11:24, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The great-grand-father is still in the links. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.150.246.90 (talk) 10:58, 6 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Reverting 2 ancient edits edit

On 1 Sep 06 Simpson's birthplace was changed from London to Lancs by an anonymous editor, and on 19 Oct 08, the Buffalo Bill stuff that follows was added by another. Neither was sourced so I'm reverting both. Rothorpe (talk) 02:05, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Simpson in The Sun edit

The front page story today attempts to drag Simpson into the Jimmy Savile controversy.[1]--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 06:45, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
