Fantasy Magazine had the first issue renewed, but the other three are out of copyright.
Space Science Fiction had September 1952 renewed. The others are out of copyright.
Science Fiction Adventures definitely had November 1952 renewed; it's not clear if May 1953 was renewed but to be safe it should be avoided. The other issues are out of copyright.
Rocket Stories was not renewed; all issues are out of copyright.

WhatamIdoing, your recent edit removed the abbreviation SF for science fiction. I usually include it because one gets a ton of repetition in these articles without some way to abbreviate it, but here I think it's probably OK to eliminate it. However, one of the instances is in a quote, which we shouldn't change. If the abbreviation is widely understood we shouldn't need to eliminate it; if not, we need to explain it because it's in the quote. Any thoughts on the best way to deal with this? Oh, sorry, @Mike Christie, I hadn't noticed that was still part of the quote. I decided to remove it because there were only eight instances, which isn't a huge number. If it had been, say, 15, I'd have sided with you about the repetitiveness.
I've added an instance of "(SF)" earlier in that sentence. I think the other usual approach is to say "...and better edited SF [science fiction] magazines to appears..." By the way, is the grammar error in the quotation accurate? WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:10, 30 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
