Lackland Air Force Base edit

Although the cited source states that Kane commanded a squadron at Lackland Air Force Base in 1940, that is impossible, as Lackland did not exist at the time. It was part of Kelly Field until 26 June 1942, when it became a separate installation as the San Antonio Aviation Cadet Center. Mueller, Robert (1989).
