Invisible women

Well now - I am concerned that two women seem to have been air-brushed from reality who are surely biographiclly relevant. Denise Price, who he married, and the unnamed mother of his son. Clearly there are stories here which are being concealed. Did he abandon his child's mother? Why does Denise Michell not feature in the funeral or any tribute?

There's no conspiracy to conceal information about them. There was dispute in 2008 about discussing his wedding, since at the time no reliable sources could be found that mentioned it. See here. This was while Michell was still alive, so WP:BLP applied. I just think that the subject has simply been forgotten since then. I've added references from an obit. I've no idea what his relationship was with the mother of his son. The obit says his marriage to Price was "brief", but does not go into any detail. Paul B (talk) 17:36, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

That's okay with me, Paul B, especially since there's a clip of the Wedding on YouTube made available. I see there's also a link to the recent Daily Telegraph obituary of Jocasta Innes, which is good. As a matter of record, John's wife Denise (known as Denny) did attend his funeral, and there are photographs which show her there. He had given Denny a large, flashy ring more than thirty years earlier, with one of the first artificial cubic zirconia set in it, which she threw into the grave after his coffin. g88keeper (talk) 12:54, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Eccentrics book and Evola

I don't understand what a large part of the Evola controversy is supposed to be about, but it has already been established that Evola is not discussed in the Eccentrics book (see this comment which seems to have been expunged from the talk page archives), so I'm removing that statement immediately. Brian Jones

Brian Jones had been dead for the thick end of two years by the time of the Glastonbury Fayre so the references to the Stones — Rolling, not Standing — could do with a bit of clarification and/or resequencing. Mr Larrington (talk) 15:03, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
