Thanks. For clarity, there should be no issue in stating the subject was popular. If we can state which group or individuals he was popular with. As expected by WP:ATTRIBUTEPOV. And have a ref to support the perceptions of those holding that opinion. As per WP:VER. (In short, describing opinions is OK. So long as those opinions are attributed and supported). Cheers. Newbridge? edit

The New Bridge constructed by Le Decer in 1308 was the one between the townlands of Parsonstown and Coneyburrow, a few kilometres upstream from Leixlip, and not at the better known town of Newbridge, Co. Kildare. See Towards a Liffey Valley Park p. 50 - Eroica (talk) 11:58, 22 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
