Salary

How much is John Hoven's yearly salary? I have to get this paper done or I get an F. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.169.23.246 (talkcontribs)

Senior governor?

Someone added that come January 2007, Hoeven will be the senior governor of the US. By what source? There are other governors first elected in 2000 as well...and they're from bigger states than ND, for instance Easley from NC...Rick Perry first became governor of TX in December 2000 when Bush resigned and has since been relected in 2002 and 2006. I thus removed the comment as it's clearly not true. --fdewaele, 3 December 2006, 14:27

Nope. You're both wrong. Please do research before you change things.
Here is the link for the North Dakota Constitution.

Nice catch...my mistake lies in the fact that his inaugural ceremony was not held until January 2001. --—Preceding unsigned comment added by Airportmatt (talkcontribs)

Enunch???

I was shocked, to say the least, when I saw that. I check the source and it said nothing of the sort. --Simfan34 (talk) 22:45, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Parent university or professional school

I expect to see an MBA attending a business school, the reader can always click on the school to find the parent university, but not the other way around. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 23:36, 23 October 2016 (UTC)

Need Information on Items Listed below

My Wife works at Trinity Hospital in Minot North Dakota. She fell at work and cracked her knee cap. It is called a Patella Fracture. So this falls under Workman's Comp North Dakota Workforce Safety & Insurance. This is something we all pay into all the time. She has been working at Trinity for almost 23 years and paying into this the whole time. She is in a brace and on crutches at this time and she is told she cannot put any pressure on her left leg. She has always been working the night shift and for the last 8 years during the day she takes care of our grandbabies so my Daughter who is a single mom of two can work during the day. My daughter can not get any help for housing or medical and needs all she gets to keep a roof over her family and ensure her kids have food. Therefor she can not afford day care while only making only $16.99 an hour. She also works at Trinity for about 16 years. Now workman's comp is telling my wife she will have to work during the day to be covered for the injurie while she is healing. Trinity has created a greeters desk to answer questions and to let patients know where they can find someone or something. This is where she will have to sit all day long. She can not stay at home and keep her leg propped up and look after our grandbabies. Workman's comp and Trinity has told my wife she would be put on casual leave, and only receive 60% of her pay if she did not work what they said she will work. And she also would have to reapply for her Job and might not get it back after she can come back. My Daughter has also been told by Trinity she will have to find someone else to look after her kids or take her vacation now or else. What is wrong with American Folks that have worked most of their lives being treated like this when all of the non-American folks get everything they want. Free Housing, Free Health Care welfare and food. My Wife does not Drive and I work during the day and leave way before my wife would have to go to work during the day. She can not walk to work at this time so they said she needs to take a taxi or find some other way to get to work. What is My daughter to do. Her Kids are more impotent to her then her Job but she needs her Job to support them. I am a Retired Veteran of 21 plus years, Husband, Father and Grandfather trying to keep it together and I do not understand what is happening. My Wife is 61 years old and did not want to fall and get hurt and cause all of this to happen. I always believed that when We paid into a system that system would be there when we needed it. Please I would like someone to look into this and Please let us know what we have done wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by John A. Hutchins Jr (talkcontribs) 22:36, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Series I Bonds

Hello, I’m a 68yo retired Rn who now lives on a fixed income. I inherited a few US Savings bonds when my mother passed away. US Bank has stopped cashing those bonds so I was directed to go to Treasury direct website where I was instructed to download a form, fill it out with a Notary public witness, stamp etc. Then I was instructed to mail the form and bond to the Treasury in Minneapolis, Mn. It was terrifying to send the bond in the mail as I need the money. The problem is that I’m now unable to contact the treasury department by email or by phone! The website declares they will ‘Not’ respond to emails or phone calls due to high volume of requests and lack of time in the work day. This is extremely anxiety provoking and I feel like I am being scammed out of money I desperately need and am left with no remedy. Can you please help me resolve this issue so myself and others can survive the fast rising inflation? Sincerely requesting assistance, William Weber 184.99.186.140 (talk) 18:43, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
