Notes edit

  • Added the Commons cat
  • Where did you get Jr from in his name?
    • I was thinking that if his son was Joe Hall III, then he would have had to have been Jr. – but I just noticed that his personal website is "joehalljr.com" so that confirms it.
  • How did you come up with the weight range in the infobox? PFA says 300. That seems reasonable.
    • I think I was taking the lowest he weighed during his career and the highest, but I changed it to 300.
  • If we're breaking up the colleges in the infobox on two separate lines, we might as well add the years to each college
    • Done.
  • "Weighing 265 pounds by high school" I don't see where in that clipping it says 265 lbs
    • "He played tailback and power forward at 265 pounds in high school"
      • That's not the ref that is cited in the article. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 17:43, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
        • The source is: Whitlock, Jason (July 23, 2003). "It's hard to ignore Joe Hall". The Kansas City Star. p. 77, 82 – via Newspapers.com.   – after p. 77, you have to click on the link that says 82. BeanieFan11 (talk) 18:14, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • "at Artesia HS" spell out high school
    • Done.
  • Change to first team all american in infobox?
    • Done.
  • "but then at the last minute the University" comma after minute
    • Done.
  • "Upon returning to the Chiefs, he was placed on the injured reserve list, where he spent the entire season" that source doesnt say he spent the whole season
    • You're right, changed.
  • "the Oakland Raiders, his final team,[1] in 2006, spending the season on injured reserve" I don't see on either one of those sources where it says injured reserve
    • This one is the transactions where it says that he was placed on IR (right side, second team).
      • That still doesn't say he spent the whole season on IR. According to this, it looks like he was released? WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 18:22, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • I guess you couldn't find date spans for his coaching career?
    • Wasn't able to.
  • "including Joe III" that's a lot of commas for that sentence but I suggest a comma after Joe III
    • Added.

That's all I think. WikiOriginal-9 (talk) 06:32, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
