Information about family edit

Hi, information about other family members (e.g. "When O'Connor was released in 1952, his son, not eager for a reunion went to sea, eventually serving a few years on The Queen Mary under Captain Harry Grattidge, the very same man with whom O'Connor survived Lancastria. Grattidge later wrote about both O'Connor and his son (under the pseudonym "Terry")." is completely irrelevant to this article. The article is about O'Connor, not his son or other relatives. The only info about Lethbridge should be what directly impacted O'Connor. Somno (talk) 05:27, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, it isn't irrelevent. And I'm sick of the crap from you and Theresa Knot. I don't like your tactics and your threats. It's going back up. I don't like dealing with cyber bullies as you two are.Orion2004 (talk) 08:06, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry that you feel bullied. My intention was to stop you from removing Somno's comment from this talk page. No need to feel threatened by that. I note that you have not adressed his comment. Please do not edit war. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 08:10, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Look. This was my first experience with Wikipedia. And to date, it stinks. Somno decided to get into a pissing contest and I got a number a messages from her that just kept fueling the fire. I'm just trying to set the record straight. Obit's and other online refs basically have ignored this man had a wife and son before Nemone Lethbridge. My Dad's pretty laid back about this, but I'm quite a pitbull when I have a mind to be. Leave the Queen Mary stuff up. I think it's an interesting bit of a twist. It doesn't harm a single living soul to leave it in. The Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxies aren't due to collide for another 5 billion years. What's so damned horrible about a sentence about my father working for the same man my Grandfather served under?Orion2004 (talk) 08:23, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
There is nothing horrible about it, Somno's point is that it is irrelevant to the article that's all. I'm not going to remove it again but it's perfectly possible that someone else might. If your experience with Wikipedia hasn't been good so far it's because you appear to see a comment about the article as a personal affront to you. You can't do this or you will never cope here. People do not view articles as your's or mine but "ours". Just because someone disagrees with you that doesn't mean they are harassing you. Fine. Then I will simply undo edits I don't agree with. Such as your last two.Orion2004 (talk) 08:39, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Rather than simply undoing edits, discussing them on the talk page can be more collaborative. We're all on the same side here - just trying to create a great article. Somno (talk) 08:52, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Award winning edit

Which awards did he win for the Wednesday play? They should be detailed in the article. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 08:10, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I had a quick look on the web and could not find a source for "award winning" So I substituted "successful". I note that you have reverted me. That's fine as long as you can add sources for that fact. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 08:40, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced tag edit

I placed a tag at the top of the page due to references. Even though there are references at the bottom of the page, the specific information on the page requires specifically cited.

As for my supposed "personal attack", while the accuser has edited a page that I have, with some issues, this tag placement has nothing to do with the accuser and only with improving this article. Please do not label valid edits as vandalism, when no content has been changed on the page. ~Auzemandius {talk/contrib} 10:15, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lack of citations edit

I'm going to start removing sentences/paragraphs that have had a citation needed tag for at least six months. It's ridiculous to have info that no one can verify. I'll try to do a search for this information, but I'll weed it out if I can't find anything. ~QuasiAbstract {talk/contrib} 07:26, 19 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
