Needs editing edit

This is really sloppy and does not provide adequate information. Editors should follow format and sourcing guidelines, and fill out bare urls. The publisher of a book found on Google books is not Google, but the original print publisher. The date of publication should be included in source data, not just the date someone accessed a Google book. Also, in the text, identify people referred to as anthropologists. What nationality are they? When were they writing? Are they representing current or historic ideas? Parkwells (talk) 14:07, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Use preferred spelling edit

If the Haudenosaunee prefer Jigonaseh as the spelling, use that, rather than the European variant.Parkwells (talk) 14:09, 10 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

The Johansen/Mann Encyclopedia of the Haudenosaunee uses the spelling "Jigonsaseh." The Mohawk cognate, however, is spelled (in the contemporary, reformed spelling) "Tsikónhsase". Cohn-jesse (talk) 13:58, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
