Not sure the source of this

"In 1906 the colonists counted about 1,500 persons." is not in the Hundert and Bacon reference. Not sure what this means; was it the Kherson colony? It certainly doesn't represent the count of all the Jews in Koloniya at the time. In any event, I deleted from the section because it didn't make sense.--Klezmer (talk) 14:19, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Communist model

The followjng sentence deleted:

"This served as a basis for the communist model years later. "

There are two problems with this sentence. Fisrt, you don't give a reference to the source of the sentence. Second, you don't say where this communist model was used. As we know, there was never actually communism anywhere.

In the edit summary "kibbutzim were communes and the link is very clear." You are confusing the word "communist" and "communal", i.e., you are confusing communism and communalism. At best kibbuzim are described as socialist model, not communist.

Once again, whatever you are going to answer, according to wikipedia rules, please provide references to reputable sources if you want to restore this sentence. `'Míkka>t 00:10, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Koloniya

Please explain why you are using the Russian word koloniya instead of English "colony". Please provide references to English authors who use this style. `'Míkka>t 00:21, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
