Name spelling edit
Shouldn't the page name in ENGLISH wikipedia in english style? I think ß isn't very much english style. Isn't the ß a quite strictly german character? Or it's meant to be "Jens Weibetaflog".82.141.75.101 (talk) 20:43, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

- They have done that on Wikipedia with the article to Franz Josef Strauß. They changed it to Franz Josef Strauss.
- But this change is very inconsistent. Because if you do so, you have to change all the other articles with names which do not comprise letters of the English alphabet. There are for example Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Björn Borg or Guðni Th. Jóhannesson
- The usage of ß is not declining. They changed the rules of usage. Since 2017, ß is also a capital letter. --Heldenmut (talk) 04:44, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
