Lemma edit

The two sources provided do not claim that the soup was named after Jenny Lind (as the article implies) but that the soup was what Lind ordered her chef to prepare for her. Whether the chef or Lind came up with the recipe is not stated in the sources. Assuming that the soup is notable I'd say that at least the page need to be moved to "Jenna Lind's soup". I'd do that if no objections pop up. Kind regards, Grueslayer 18:15, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your suggestion seems reasonable. It would be helpful to include a sentence or 2 about its origin. While you're at it, you should remove the cross-reference to Wikibooks' Cookbook (|no_recipes=true) because it doesn't seem to exist. Cheers, Michael Bednarek (talk) 00:31, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Okay. For other readers: "Jenny Lind's soup" (with apostrophe) is of course not made up by me but it's how the sources spell the lemma.
I'll wait a week, for someone with expertise on the matter (that I don't have) might come up with something valuable. If not, I'd just evaluate the sources. Kind regards, Grueslayer 05:19, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've moved the article and added some titbits. Looking through more sources, there are some that call it "Jenny Lind Soup", so the move may not have been strictly necessary. Well, it's done now and there is a REDIRECT from the previous name. // Feel free to add more material. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 03:14, 17 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
