Fair use rationale for Image:Jeannette.Walls.jpg edit

Image:Jeannette.Walls.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have a question why did someone remove the picture that recently was put up because that picture was an all rights reserved picture. The other picture that was put back back up was a copyright picture This picture was found in google images and does have all rights reserved. The picture that was put up yesterday was from flickr an all rights reserved website — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moxygirll (talkcontribs) 01:04, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Siblings edit

Four vs. Five siblings edit

Currently the article says there were four siblings including Jeannette Walls. But a fifth sibling survived early infancy -- although not childhood -- as recounted in The Glass Castle. Publius3 (talk) 05:24, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Which of the two birthdays for Jeannette Walls is correct? April 20 or January 1? edit

Does anyone know which of the dates is correct?96.232.70.212 (talk) 14:42, 22 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Neither should be in the article without solid sourcing, which I see is not there. I'll take them both out.842U (talk) 17:58, 22 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Genre section edit

I have now removed the "Genre" section twice. As it stood it was meaningless, with no context as to what it was about. If it is to be added back, please add some context to clarify and make sure it appears before the References section.--ukexpat (talk) 16:46, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello to you,

I am a student at a local community college. My assignment is on Seminars, Movie deals and Stage Adaptations about Jeannette Walls. This detective work is to be posted on Wikipedia in an eloquent fashion proper not only for Wikipedia’s standers but for the overall work done for my assignment. I have tried and failed a couple times. I am writing you today to seek out your advice on a proper way of delivery. We only had this assignment for a short time, and I am led to believe I would have to be more than a novice to attempt such a feet. I am here today to implore your expertise on this subject. With your help not only would this cite be expanded, but you will be directing me and other students on the road to success in our education.
Thank you for your time and patients with this delicate matter.DeÄnna Dewbré' (talk) 17:04, 5 November 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by DeÄnna Dewbré (talkcontribs) 16:59, 5 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Also why was the interview section removed

The previous picture needs to be put back up, or it will be deleted.Millertime246 (talk) 01:01, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
