Dates edit

Okay, we need to talk about standardizing dates. the use of the word 'the' in dates makes the very blunt text more grammatically correct, but also prevents us from using regional dialects of English. This is problematic because on most articles about Indian people we see the same Indiaisms which get edited and subsequently reverted. The WikiProject:India makes no sense if all improvements get reverted. Bopcicle22 (talk) 11:52, 27 August 2018 (UTC) Bopcicle22.Reply

@Nizil Shah: can discuss on this issue. -Gazal world (talk) 13:06, 27 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hello @Bopcicle22:, thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We follow MOS:DATE. Using ordinals (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) is not followed as per MOS:BADDATE. If WP:India decides to follow different style, it can be accepted. But currently MOS:INDIA does not have recommendation on dates. Hope it clarifies. Thank you, Gazal world for asking.
