U.S. Public Libraries edit

I restored info on availability of Jane's in these libraries. Somebody had removed it because there are non-U.S. readers. It would have been better to add info for the non-U.S. folks, rather than to leave us Yanks in the dark. (It still would be better, too.) Lou Sander 00:16, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair point. It's good to know that I can find the books as you explained: In the U.S., one or more issues can usually be found in larger public libraries; and most U.S. libraries can access Jane's by interlibrary loan or that The technical library at the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, DC, has been designated a repository for Jane's Fighting Ships, and contains all issues of this document dating back to the original issue number 1. More content required edit

Could we not have a few lines describing how Jane's goes about naming, referencing, classifying, detailing ships? Broichmore (talk) 11:09, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

That sounds good. DIY tends to work best if you're interested in this topic! Nick-D (talk) 11:35, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

No new editions? edit

Hasn't there been any new editions of this, one of their flagship publications, for twenty years? 192.121.232.253 (talk) 11:06, 22 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
