Possibly not relevant to the article (which already mentions sundry instrumental compositions- string quartets by historical reputation may deserve some separate consideration however) the Library of Congress catalog contains three quartets, published as his second and third in the genre (published as opp 61, 62 and 90 by CF Peters), by this composer. (Whose library catalog standard name is Johann Wenzel Kalliwoda, by the way. Though alternatives such as Johannes Wanzeslaus Kalliwoda and of course Johannes Wenzeslaus Kalliwoda and others exist.) The first-ever New York Philharmonic concert, in 1842, did include a specially-commissioned Kalliwoda overture, but it closed the program rather than opened it. The first piece of the night was Beethoven's Fifth, followed by several excerpts from Weber's "Oberon", a piece of Hummel chamber music, and, to finish off the evening, the Kalliwoda premiere. 168.7.252.215 (talk) 20:51, 16 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

By way of orchestral/other (beyond the two or three best known, relatively speaking, of his works) performance history between death in 1866 and modern slight revival...

Kalliwoda symphony no. 2 in E-flat (described as "melodious if somewhat weak") given a performance by the Strolling Players in 1892 ( "Amateur Orchestral Concerts". The Musical Times and Singing Class Circular. 33 (589): 150. Mar. 1892. ISSN 0958-8434. Retrieved 2007-07-17. {{cite journal}}: Check date values in: |date= (help); Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors= (help)) while overtures by him were played in Dublin in 1889 and 1891 ("Music in Dublin". The Musical Times and Singing Class Circular. 30 (556): 349. Jun. 1889. ISSN 0958-8434. Retrieved 2007-07-17. {{cite journal}}: Check date values in: |date= (help); Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors= (help), 23 "Music in Dublin". Retrieved 2007-07-17. {{cite journal}}: Check |url= value (help); Check date values in: |date= (help); Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors= (help)), on the latter occasion together with an overture by Carl Gottlieb Reißiger.

The 3rd symphony (D minor op 32) was played in late 1890/early 1891 in Sheffield ("Music in Sheffield". The Musical Times and Singing Class Circular. 32 (575): 37. Jan. 1891. ISSN 0958-8434. Retrieved 2007-07-17. {{cite journal}}: Check date values in: |date= (help); Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors= (help)) and symphony no. 1 the year after, also in Sheffield ("Music in Sheffield". The Musical Times and Singing Class Circular. 33 (587): 40. Jan. 1892. ISSN 0958-8434. Retrieved 2007-07-17. {{cite journal}}: Check date values in: |date= (help); Cite has empty unknown parameter: |coauthors= (help)) (The F minor also featured in a concert in Norwich in 1892 ([1]).)

It was considered profitable to include his violin duets in a collection (Collection of Celebrated Violin Duets) and publish them in London in the 1880s (Jstor link for review) as well, further evidence that his reputation did not decline as swiftly as that of some other composers...
