Is the American actor the primary use of the name, "James Stewart"?

There is a discussion going on about moving the James Stewart dab page to James Stewart (disambiguation) to make room for moving James Stewart (actor) to James Stewart on the basis that the American actor is the primary meaning of "James Stewart".

That would mean anyone looking for the topic of this article by searching for "James Stewart" would get sent to the article about the American actor rather than to the dab page.

Birth date

There appears to be two birth dates for this man, one in 1850 and another in 1851. I've looked on Scotsland people (the official Scotland Government site) and Ancestry and everyone there has the 1850 date. However, documents here in Queensland consistently seem to have the 1851 date. I suspect the reason is his illegitimacy. Because it was a social stigma in those times, it was not uncommon for individuals or their parents to lie about their date of birth so they could appear to be legitimate. It is not clear who raised him but I am guessing that it was a married couple (perhaps one of his parents although I can find no evidence either of them subsequently married) or he was fostered/adopted (it was not unusual for married aunts and uncles to raise illegitimate children as their own). In which case if a slight alteration in birth date would make the child appear legitimate within the family in which they were raised, this is what the family would do. Because the original Scottish records are very detailed, it seems there is little doubt of the date and circumstances of his birth. Perhaps we should report both birth dates and the sources for each.
