I will review this article today or tomorrow. Fair warning, I don't know much about cricket, just seems like an interesting guy. Cheers, « Gonzo fan2007(talk) @ 17:59, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

"provide more succinct arguments" - more than what? Maybe "very succinct"?
"Primarily played for his fast-medium pace bowling, Parfitt played for both" - double use of "played" isn't ideal. Maybe "used" or something similar? « Gonzo fan2007(talk) @ 00:48, 10 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Cricket career
Being a novice cricket person, I would link Slip (cricket). I don't know what mid-off is, but there isn't a Wikipedia article that I can tell. Also, wicket.
"during the school holidays,[9] and made his debut in August 1883" - I would split in two, as it is a long sentence. i.e. "holidays. He made his debut"

File:Parfitt, JJ.jpg is almost certainly in PD, but is safely claimed as fair use. I would investigate this more to see if it is old enough to meet PD requirements, but for this review the tag and rationale are sufficient. « Gonzo fan2007(talk) @ 17:59, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
I imagine you're right, but I don't know any of the original publication details, and there is a mathematical chance that life of the photographer plus 70 years hasn't been hit. Harriastalk 06:02, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I don't know if it is just me, but none of the Cricket Archive links work. here says they do, so I don't know what's up. Just check again and confirm they work for you.
All works fine for me, though it hits a paywall. Harriastalk 06:02, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
