Reason for Hoax tag

The 5th Earl of Loudoun, according to other sources, like Debretts died in 1786. A lot more sources out there contradicting the assertions made in this article. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 19:51, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Hoax tag removed, article replaced with accurate stub

Everything that could be checked about the first version of this article was wrong - dates of birth and death and marriage, father's name, wife's name, army rank. I have reduced it to a stub with accurate information and sources, and corrected the name in the title, thus turning blue a red-link from Earl of Loudoun. JohnCD (talk) 21:15, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
