- Just having a look I can find references to them being considered part of Kiwiana, including a book entitled From Jandals to Jaffas - The best of Kiwiana, and there's a reference to them being a feature of Australiana in this book here. Orange coloured? edit
I'm in the UK, and was recently sent a (first!) bag of Allen's Jaffas. I would most definitely call them red, not orange. Most of the photos I can find on Google etc show them as more reddish than orangey, too. Loganberry (Talk) 01:46, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Logically, people living in Auckland wouldn't think of themselves in a derogatory manner?
At any rate, that doesn't make a lot of sense. The article seems to go off towards the end into rambling.

'Pieces'? edit
The caption under the picture currently reads 'Three pieces of Jaffas confectionery', -would one call individual Jaffas 'pieces' though? Seems strange, surely just 'Three Jaffas' would be more correct?219.88.68.195 (talk) 22:08, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
