Unguarded and his 80's career edit

Listening to the album Unguarded, I was curious to learn more about the engineer's career circa 1985. The sound on this album must have been a challenge to achieve. The drums are very prominent, the synthesizers very evident, yet the vocal is not crowded out. Indeed Amy Grant never sounded more like a pop star. The balancing act that the engineer pulls off here is impressive. So I was wondering how much work he had at this point and were he got his start.

Indeed, how can a biography be complete without mentioning where he started? And how did he break into secular music? 75.73.93.176 (talk) 21:56, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Beck's Nicotine and Gravy edit

If you follow the link to the song "Nicotine and Gravy" the producer is credited as Micket Petralia not Jack Joseph Puig. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.181.79.51 (talk) 23:06, 8 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
