Surely qualifies for start class by Croughton-London rule of stubs. Have changed it's status. Centrepull (talk) 14:19, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
JPEGView windows open source software edit
There was an edit on 1 January 2018 which removed the link to the Windows program saying not notable. Since it has been around since 2007, I think it is notable... but should a disambiguation page be created, linking to both the Mac and Windows software? Sylikc (talk) 00:32, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- Unless it's a port of this app, or is somehow substantially related to this app, then I'd think it doesn't belong in this article, and needs to be notable to get its own page. DFlhb (talk) 15:30, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
- @DFlhb Yes, I was thinking it needs it own page entirely, but how do I name it? I know on other wikipedia pages, either a disambiguation page is created, or something of the sort. I'm sort of new to it, what's the right way to get a redirect (even if user interactive) when someone lands on this page looking for the other? Sylikc (talk) 19:58, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
- Don't know about the title. If you want to create an article, you'll have to go through WP:AfC, and that requires finding secondary sources (at least 3) that meet the criteria outlined in WP:GNG and WP:NPRODUCT. DFlhb (talk) 20:07, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
