Foster's Reaction

JESUS CHRIST, didn't she have to go through enough in 1981? Why in the world would anyone with half a brain name their band this? Anything on Foster's reaction to this? Captain Jackson 03:49, 31 December 2005 (UTC)

Jodie Foster's attorneys issued a cease & desist. I have the first issue with the first 2 albums on one cassette, and it is titled JODIE FOSTER'S ARMY. ALL subsequent releases, and further pressings of the 1st 2 albums only say 'JFA' with no referece to Jodie Foster. Interestingly, if you go to skaterock.com and read about them, there is no mention of the Reagan assasination attempt, only a morbid fascination with Jodie Foster herself, including a long, rambling 'fantasy'.

You have to remember that JFA were KIDS in early 1980's. Kids can be insensitive. Teamgoon 11:58, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Sure they were kids, but cmon when I was little I knew more then to name a band after some retarded incident that a person would like to forget for the rest of her life. I mean if they wanna name their band this, so be it...but look how stupid the name sounds! LOL —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.176.211.246 (talk) 09:09, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
