Could you please show evidence for range of Yıldırım-2&3? I'm sure that range of Yıldırım-2 is 260 km.Rugyu (talk) 03:39, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
As much as I love & respect the Turkish military, I have to admit that that particular missile looks like a Tintin rocket, or a Saddam-era Scud or anything. OK, it even looks like a V2.... Argh! Come on Türkiye, you can do better than this, looks DO matter!! :) --85.99.73.225 (talk) 21:22, 4 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
This "Tintin missile" has proven to be a very reliable and accurate performer in numerous tests in the Acikir range, and it is perfectly capable of ruining the day of an S-300 missile operator who had been enjoying the cool Aegean breeze just a few minutes ago. I would not be too worried about the looks. However; if good-looking Turkish missiles are an interest to you, please keep following the news from Turkish defense industries. Who knows; with more than a dozen different missile projects in the works, there might be one or two that might appeal to you.
