Talk:Italian submarine Comandante Faà di Bruno

Untitled edit

There is no mention of the Italian submarine Comandante Faà di Bruno (or any other submarine) in the Wikipedia article on the history of Convoy HX-84 despite claims to the contrary in the article on this sub, nor is there any mention of this submarine in the Wiki histories of the destroyers HMCS Ottawa and HMS Harvester, which are alleged to have sunk her (in the article on this sub), nor is there any mention of these destroyers having defended Convoy HX-84 at any time in their respective articles, also despite claims to the contrary in the article on this sub. The article on Convoy HX-84 says it had scattered after encountering the surface raider Admiral Scheer three days before the article on this sub says this sub was sunk while attacking this convoy, but the convoy never reformed after it had scattered (at least that seems quite apparent in the article on the convoy). Lastly, although the article on this sub says she was sunk Nov. 8, 1940, the entries for Shipwrecks and Maritime Incidents, November 1940, lists the date of her sinking as Nov. 6, 1940, one day after the convoy scattered, not three. So the fate of the Comandante Faà di Bruno seems to be a confusing mystery within the English-language Wikipedia, to say the least. I do not have any references to clear it up.
