Here's a few questions I need answered about this song:

• Did the original version of the song have the same instrumental as the No Way Out version?
• Has the word "Hebrews" been removed from the line "We see through, that's why nobody never gon' believe you, You should do what we do, stack chips like *Hebrews*" in every version of the song?

It amazes me how many people are oblivious to why it was rubbed out of the song. With all the cuss words and racial words on that album, it stands to reason that it would not be "Hebrews" that is the removed word. If you think about it, the only logical word that would make sense in the rhyme, but would have to be removed is the word "Pringles". you should do what we do, stack chips like Pringles. That is a brand name and they would have been sued if they kept it in the song.

• Has the Rock Remix ever been released uncensored? I have the song on ESPN'S Jock Rock 2000 cd as well as on a Puff Daddy single and both versions are edited.

• Why has "Hot 97" been edited out of most releases of this song?

Answer

Hot 97 is a solitary Radio Station in the New York market. Other stations playing the song would obviously not want to advertise for another station, especially if it is not part of their radio network.

I don't like the rock remix but the rock remix likes me?

It would appear that Marilyn Manson interpolated parts of the rock remix for the refrain of "I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)" from the album Mechanical Animals. Is this true? --Damian Yerrick (☎) 18:39, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

Citation Needed

Why the hell is the sentence noting that "benjamins" means "$100 bills" marked 'citation needed'. Are we requiring citations for every piece of commonly-used street slang now?
