Do they play this song with a faster rythm than on the "The Wall" album? It sounds like the song goes a bit faster... I`m not sure.

In the flesh

"The album artwork featured the life-masks of the four members of Pink Floyd at the time, which were worn by the "surrogate band" during the song "In the Flesh"."

I have seen "In the Flesh" refer to both the song and the tour on this page. Can someone clarify? Were these masked worn by others during the wall performance w/ Pink Floyd, or on Roger Waters' tour? --Daniel Olsen 21:29, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Pre-recorded backing tracks.

Is it worth listing the songs which include pre-recorded backing tracks? Many of them do. "Bring The Boys Back Home" is essentially Roger Waters singing along to the record (you can even hear his studio vocals near the end, when the live Roger ends his last note earlier than the recorded vocal.) Rick Wright

It seems like it's some disagreements about if Rick Wright should be credited as a part of Pink Floyd or not. In my opinion he should be listed with Gilmour, Waters and Mason but I understand why some of you disagree. He was payed as a session musician, but on the other hand he was a part of the "Pink Floyd" in the stage show and not the stage show. In the the book "Comfortably Numb - A History of "The Wall" - Pink Floyd 1978-1981" Wright is quoted saying: "...I made the decision (...) to leave. But I also made the decision to I'm going to finish the recording this album and I want to be in the live shows and then we'll say goodbye." I'll have to admit that I haven't the original CD booklet for this album here, and I can't remember what it says. The album cover shows four faces which represents the four members of the band, but I'm not sure if that's an argument. Floyd(Norway) 03:11, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I've found the original CD sleeve for this album and Rick Wright is mentioned as part of Pink Floyd. That's why I've reverted the last edit. I think we should follow what the albums says, but if the article was about the tour and not the album, it could have been otherwise. Floyd(Norway) 22:08, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Limited Edition

Would it be worth mentioning the deluxe limited edition version of this album? I own it. It comes in a hard cardboard sleeve with a pullout hardback book (the CDs are in the front and back cover) and the book is filled with technical information about the stage set up with "engineer" type diagrams of the stage. Content in track listing

Sorry to revert info added by an IP regarding performance date of each track. I have no objection to this info being included, but: (a) the edits completely ignore Wikipedia's date format; (b) the notes about tracks having different titles on some editions has been removed AGAIN - in the past I've asked why this is being done, and received no reply, so I'm reverting that again; (c) moving track by track composer details to the top of the section, just to make room for the dates, is contrary to formatting policy, especially when wikilinks are removed - since this section is not template formatted, there should be no problems with showing all info for each track on its line. The editor making these changes appears to have a changing IP address, so I am posting here instead on one of his user talk pages. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 12:23, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

iTunes

Does the last line of the main article, "This is no longer available on iTunes" , really need to be there? What relevance does that have to the rest of the article? Source of each track's performances

PLEASE forgive me if I am in the wrong place for this. I really did look at Guidelines and remain unclear on this.

I crave any detail about this album and have long wondered about the date(s) of each track's source performance(s).

I don't question whoever provided this information in the existing article, but would love to know where the information came from. I am certainly grateful for the info, I hope/assume it's accurate and was fascinated to see that there are so many composite performances. That explains "Digital Masonry" in the credits.

Please let me know if there is a better place or way to ask this kind of thing in the future.
